A true testament to the passage of time and the contemplation of the first masterpieces of humanity dating back tens of thousands of years.

1 / Chauvet 2 Cave

As the world’s largest replica of a cave, the grotte chauvet 2 reproduces the magic of the Chauvet Cave, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A visit to this cave is a unique experience, offering a total immersion in prehistory.

🚗 A cultural activity for the whole family, 35 minutes from the campsite.

2 / Salamander Cave

Less well known but just as fascinating is the Salamander cave. Several entertaining activities are offered to explore this enchanting cavity:

  • The one-hour guided tour takes you on a walk through the heart of the cave, where sounds and lights add a spectacular touch to an already sublime place.
  • For the more adventurous and thrill-seekers, the 50m rappel, spelunking, or flying on an aeroplume allow you to embark on an adventure!
  • Finally, the belvedere offers a breathtaking panoramic view.

🚗 Make your choice! The site is located 1 hour from the campsite.

3 / Cocalière Cave

And last but not least, visit one of France’s most beautiful caves, still alive and in formation: the Grotte de la Cocalière.

The tour is easy and accessible to everyone, and you will discover, in addition to usual calcite formations, very original and unusual concretions.
