Between early June and late July, depending on the year, don’t miss the opportunity to admire the blooming lavender and let yourself be carried away on a true sensory journey.

Situated between Gras, Larnas, Saint-Remèze and Bidon, the lavender plateau of Ardèche offers an incredible spectacle of great purple expanses. For hikers, climb to the highest peak in Southern Ardèche and admire! The view of the lavender fields from the dent de Rez is breathtaking.

After your photo stop, don’t hesitate to visit the Maison de la Lavande in Saint Remèze. There, you’ll learn everything about lavender, from its cultivation to its distillation. You can also hop on the little train and escape into the surrounding fields or stock up on lavender-based products in the adjacent shop.
